Sunday Encounter

Sunday morning, I woke up feeling grateful. Thank God its Sunday! that's the first thing came to mind the minute I opened my eyes and see some sunshine. It was too long of a weekend for me. Too much good time and partying to the point it was too good to be true. I started getting nervous by Friday morning and wished it was Monday already on Saturday night. I was definitely overdosed on good times.
The long ass weekend gave me a chance to see how it feels like to be a rockstar. You know, the life that you can only dream of and only see on tv. It was full blown partying, hanging out, drinking, and wasting money on things you don't need, scheduled non stop from morning to night for four days straight. So before weekend was over, I had enough.

The original plan that Sunday was supposed to be staying home, being lazy, catching up on some sleep and some family time at home sweet home, but before I even get a chance to open the door in my room, I heard my brother already making alot of noise outside. Looked out the window, lil mofo was washing his car. A little background, there are a lot of equipments and stuff that need to be pull out in order to wash a car in Audit's household. The effort in getting all those outside is quite a work out. That is not involving the wash, brush, drying the car and waxing the wheels. So my lazy brain started thinking that half part of the task of washing a car is already done, so might as well. Yes, you know it, I ended up washing the cars at 730am Sunday morning. Chill original plan definitely out of the window.

Cars looking good and stomachs were empty, so we cruise up to Reston to get some brunch at this burger joint that lil mofo always telling me about. Before I know of this place, 5guys and in-n-out in the Westies are the only place I get my burg. But that day, things changed. lil mofo took me to this place The Counter, where you build your own stack. It was AWESOME! You can put soo much stuff that you've never imagined before on your burg. Ten different kinds of cheese, over ten choices of toppings starting from avocado, salsa, boiled eggs, fried eggs, fried pineapple, and much more. They even cook the meat the way I imagined it. Medium and pink in the center. I have never encounter a burger joint like the counter. It was definitely a path to a food enlightenment. To top off my Sunday morning goodness, we had a bowl of sweet potato fries with their special sauce. Too bad time flew by when you're on cloud 9. Before I know it, it was time to get back home and back on the grind. Otherwise, I would've check out the gellato shop next door.

No pics this time. I had low expectation coming into this place, so I didn't bring my camera, but I was undoubtedly wrong that morning.
