How to pour your beer?

So I have been out a couple of times and everytime I get a beer and started pouring, people around me always complain. They said that I do not know how to pour, let alone drink a beer. The way I pour it, is just straight up from the bottle or can to the glass. No tilting the glass, no pouring in slowly; straight up! So I would have about at least an inch of "head" or foam.

The reason that I am doing this is because, back where I came from, this is how we do. We-my people, feel that if it does not have any head, its not a beer. Apparently, people in the U.S. feel differently about it. And now I am going to prove that I am right.

And for the rednecks that say, stop being a wuss, and drink it like a man-straight from the bottle, I gotta tell you that your manly way is wrong.
